I'm Billy Brown, but you can call me Chill Bill.
I help people find their chill through real food, cold, breath and good company.
The origin story
I grew up on Lake Couchiching — rolling in snow, swimming in October, spending winters skiing and building forts.
I studied zoology because I wanted to know what separates us from chimps. What I found was that the question itself was kind of wrong. We're not separate from nature. We ARE nature. We just convinced ourselves otherwise — and then wondered why we felt so off.
Somewhere along the way, adults forgot how to really play. How to be loose and free with each other without needing something to take the edge off first. I know that pattern well. And getting honest about it changed everything — you can read the short version of that story up top.
These days I'm a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, a certified Wim Hof Method instructor, and the co-founder of the Couchiching Cold Community — 600+ people who jump in the lake together and somehow end up becoming really good friends. I also teach recovery-based wellness to men at Seven South Street Addiction Treatment Centre. It's some of the most meaningful work I do. And I'm part of the team at Glen Oro Farm, an eco retreat where I'm helping build out their wellness and retreat offerings.
The habits we build are deceptively small. The results are not. Nobody heals alone — and it's way more fun with company.

People aren't just looking for a better diet or a new supplement. They're looking for a way to feel less anxious, less overwhelmed, less like they're barely holding it together. What they're really searching for — even if they don't have the words for it — is nervous system regulation. The ability to feel genuinely calm, present, and alive. Everything I do points at that one thing.
The strongest predictor of how long and how well you'll live isn't your diet, your VO2 max, or how cold your ice bath is. It's the depth of your relationships. Connection is the medicine — and the antidote to addiction. Your body already knows this. The goal isn't to follow a system. It's to get out of the way.
Stay in the loop
The 15 most important things I'd tell you — cold, food, sleep, breath, and connection — to help you feel like your wildest, most alive self. No fluff, no 17 emails a week, plus first dibs on workshop dates and the next group coaching cohort.
